The Tampa Bay Lightning Hockey are a professional hockey team based in Tampa, Florida. They are members of the Southeast Division of the Eastern Conference of the National Hockey League. The play in the St. Pete Times Forum in downtown Tampa.
The Tampa Bay Rays are a professional baseball team based in St. Petersburg. The Rays are a member of the Eastern Division of Major League Baseball's American League. From 1998 to the present, the Rays have played at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg.
