Dr. Broome received his veterinary degree from North Carolina State University and then completed a large animal internship at The University of Georgia. After 2 years in private large animal practice, he returned to UGA as an instructor. He then completed his surgical residency at the University of Florida, after which he he served as a clinical instructor before joining the staff at Surgi-Care. He is currently pursing a doctorate in equine exercise physiology at the University of Florida. His professional interests include soft tissue surgery, lameness, and sports medicine.
